Mike founded the company in 1975. He has B.S. and M.S. degrees from
The University of Tennessee and is a registered forester in several
southern states. Mike served two five-year terms on the Tennessee
Forestry Commission and has held important leadership roles for
the Tennessee Forestry Association. He recently completed an
eight-year term as Chief Operating Officer of South Alabama
Land and Timber Company. Currently he serves on the
Board of Trustees of the Tennessee Chapter of the Nature
Conservancy and is a member of The Society of American
Foresters. Mike is a licensed real estate broker in
Tennessee and Alabama.
